Welcome Back To School

I hope you are enjoying your first few weeks of school. The beginning of the year is an exciting time to meet new friends and learn about our classroom. I am so proud of how well you are all doing!

Earth Day

Earth Day will be celebrated on Wednesday! We will be taking a nature hike in the wildlife preserve, trying to have a litterless lunch, and a special assembly about mother earth. What things do you do at home to keep the earth clean? Mr. Vogel

Spring Is In The Air

During each season many changes occur in the weather, outdoor activities we enjoy, and the world around us. In the winter I can remember ice skating in the cold as trees stood without any leaves.

The first day of spring was March 20th! What signs of spring have you noticed at school or even around your home? Mr. Vogel : )

Marble Celebration

Today we had a marble celebration which consisted of watching a movie with Mr. Palladino's class! The class can earn marbles by getting ten stars on their personal star chart. Each time a child gets ten stars they place marble in a special jar. When the jar becomes filled with marbles they receive a fun choice. They can earn stars by working quielty, following directions, and respecting their classmates! What things did you do to earn stars? - Mr. Vogel

Pets

I have a two year old Rat Terrior! Her name is Roxy. She loves to play fetch, bark at neighbors, and get treats. Do you have any pets? - Mr. Vogel
